Transport to Munich Airport (MUC)
The city’s well-connected transport services offer a simple way to travel the 28 km from central Munich to the airport. You can catch the Airport Metro Line from München Hauptbahnhof (Munich Central Station); the journey takes around 45 minutes. Trains leave every 10 to 20 minutes, except between 01:00 and 04:00 AM. Bus services are generally excellent; particularly the Lufthansa Express Bus, which runs from early in the morning until late in the evening at 15-minute intervals. This bus leaves from Munich Central Station as well. Otherwise, you can always opt for either a taxi or limousine, but bear in mind that a lengthy trip like this could turn out quite expensive.
